Review

Protect and hide any Windows folder or files from everyone. Files are hidden from any user and application in the system, not even the Administrator will be able to access or see the protected files. Also, its technology makes it impossible to gain access from a local network or the Web.
Designed to be easily used, it has a drag and drop simple interface; just drag the desired files to hide or password-protect the main window of the application. After choosing a setup, the file(s) will be locked until a valid password is entered.
It is compatible with Vista and Xp, and only through this application hidden files can be visible. The security level is high, no file structure modifications will occur even after uninstalling the program, the security settings remain so that a hidden folder is never available.
Just to to avoid mistakes or intentional harm, Hide Folders will not hide Windows System folders or Windows partition root folders.
This version has now fixed the issue of Trusted processes. This happens when you want to allow certain applications to have access to hidden or protected data, like antivirus or backup programs. The user can set a list of trusted processes to have access to these protected files.
Advantages
  • Makes files invisible.
  • Password protects folders.
  • FAT/FAT32 compatible.
  • Works on removable media.
Disadvantages
  • Hidden Folder continues to run as a background process even after closing, it may slow the system.
